Redwings Horse Sanctuary is the UK’s largest horse welfare charity, where everything they do is for the love of the horse. Every day, over 1,300 rescued horses and donkeys wake up safe, warm, and cared for, all because of Redwings, and people who support them.
As the UK’s largest horse welfare charity, they believe every horse, pony, donkey and mule deserves a life free from fear, neglect, and suffering. That’s why they give them a second chance, from urgent rescues to lifelong sanctuary care.
Redwings is 100% funded by donations. Thanks to the generosity of their supporters, another 700 are now living their best lives in loving guardian homes.
How Redwings Horse Sanctuary help horses
Their dedicated rescue teams work tirelessly to save horses and ponies from abuse and neglect, with most of their residents coming directly from these situations.
Upon arrival, each horse is assessed and placed in the Sanctuary where their needs are best met.
For those who are nervous or traumatised, their specialist behaviour teams provided focused care.
Horses that can be rehomed receive further training in their rehoming centres before being matched with loving Guardian homes, where they can thrive.
Those requiring long-term care due to physical or emotional challenges remain with Redwings, living out their days in safe, natural herds.

When you shop with us, join the Harry Hall One Club or we arrange an insurance policy for one of our members, we donate to charity every time.
- Anyone joining the Harry Hall One Club, taking out insurance or going shopping will trigger a donation.
- We will also include an option for Harry Hall shoppers to donate to Redwings at the checkout if they wish.
- We will help raise awareness for Redwings across our different platforms.
- Harry Hall will donate unsold clothing and horse equipment to Redwings.
